Alice in Wonderland

“Well! I’ve often seen a cat without a grin; but a grin without a cat! It’s the most curious thing I ever saw in my life!” —Alice

well. it seems to me this wonderful story from Lewis Carroll is being made into a movie by Tim Burton. i’ve always liked his movies [The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands]. i’ve been reading things that states that this movie will be done like Beowulf movie was done, which i didn’t quite took a liking to. i mean, it was good, very good but the effects look… unrealistic and too distant. you can’t really… i don’t know, relate [for lack of a better word], i guess? i hope if this movie comes out, that it is as amazing and memorable as the book itself, or hopefully even better, if that is possible.  i really look forward to this movie.

in the meantime, read the book if you haven’t. there are two parts: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Through the Looking Glass. very very interesting book and very well written, so if you like reading, definitely try it. it’s really good. =)
